Principal founder
Isaac Sagoe is a founding member of SCI. Isaac has a BS from Georgian Court College, in Lakewood New Jersey. He also has an MBA in marketing from Philadelphia University, and a Ph.D. from Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Before forming SCG in 1998, Isaac was a manager at Lucent Technologies, Inc.
Isaac is a member of the Academy of International Business, The Management Forum, American Managers Association and International Society for Performance Improvement. His professional interests include Business/Financial Analysis -Gen., International/Global Marketing, Media Marketing - Internet Commerce, Customer/End User Focused Marketing, Expatriate Training, and Participative Management - Self-managed Teams, High-performing Teams, TQM, and Organizational Management Behavior (OMB). HRM - Employee Development and Training for Organizational Leadership, Management Organizational Design, Employee Relations and Satisfaction, Employee Compensation, and Mentoring.
In 1996, Isaac was selected to design and develop a value-based customer service course for the newly-formed Lucent Technologies, Inc. The course won excellent critical reviews and was implemented company-wide. The course - "Value-based Customer Service" is still a part of the required curriculum for newly hired Customer Service Engineers (CSEs).
Aside from his work with major corporations, Isaac has done substantial volunteer work with the Ocean County Volunteering board, working with the handicapped and as a mentor for the big brother program.
He has published in a peer-reviewed journal: Why are Self-managed teams so popular? (Journal for Quality and Participation, 1994) and developed and implemented the following:
The Manager as a coach - an employee development guideline for managers, Operational procedures for computer operators, Valued-based customer service and other product-based courses. As consultant, he has setup and maintained Self-managed teams.
